Pope Damasus I born 366 and died 384. He was of spanish descent and was elected in the basilica of St. Lawrence in Lucina by a majority of the Roman clergy and people.We thought this would be an apt first card to post.
We have used rub-ons, stamps, postage stamp, embossing and used watercolors to fill in the image which is taken from the book 'The Popes' by Burns & Oates.
