Google Art Project
If there is a company I would like to work for it would be Google..such innovators. The newest project they have come up with is called 'Google Art Project'. It allows one to view the artworks in various museums around the world from your desktop. Not only can you view the artworks but you can also take a virtual tour around the entire museum.
For artists like moi it allows us to zoom in on each painting to such a degree that I can analyze the colors used to paint the eye. Helps very much when studying value and brush strokes. Click here to read the article written by one of the innovators at Google and click here to get to the Google Art Project home page.
To give you an idea of the level of detail one can zoom into, see the pics below:

New toys to play with...
OMFG !!! I have found a new toy to play with and I am loving it - Corel PSP is awesome. Of course initially it is maddening but the more you play with it the more you learn. D dug up a `PSP for Dummies`book for me and I am painstakingly going through each page as I really want to learn this program. So many options...so much you can do with it..........

Painting featured in Etsy Treasury for the 16th Time
My painting titled 'Fall Fays' was featured in an ETSY Treasury along with other portraits from the talented artists on Etsy. What I am very chuffed about is that my work has been featured along with other artists who I greatly admire and religious follow their blog / works. To be featured along with Krystina81, Janet Hill Studio, TushTush, BeHappyNow to name a few is humbling.
DanaAndCarol curated the treasury and she sells unique paper wreaths and her white ones are so so pretty. Please pop by her shop to check out more of her products.
